Director, ITB Program Delivery

NyRad is looking for a Director, ITB Program Delivery to join its growing team supporting some of the world’s leading defence and aerospace companies. 

This is an opportunity to work at the centre of Canada’s defence procurement ecosystem, helping clients across air, land, and sea platforms navigate and execute complex Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) obligations tied to major defence programs. 

NyRad is looking for a highly organized, client-focused professional with deep experience managing ITB obligations in the Canadian market. The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, thrives in fast-paced environments with multiple moving priorities, and can independently manage client files while coordinating across a broad range of stakeholders. 

At NyRad, you will work directly with senior client teams, government stakeholders, and industry partners to help shape and deliver impactful industrial participation strategies that create long-term value in Canada’s defence sector. 

Key Responsibilities 
  • Lead the day-to-day management and execution of Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) obligations associated with major Canadian defence procurements; 
  • Serve as a trusted delivery partner to clients across air, land, and naval programs, managing multiple client files simultaneously; 
  • Coordinate with client stakeholders across supply chain, R&D, finance, legal, HR, business development, and executive leadership teams to identify, develop, track, and execute ITB opportunities; 
  • Support clients in obtaining approvals, validations, and compliance acceptance through Innovation, Science and Economic Development Canada (ISED); 
  • Develop and maintain ITB tracking tools, reporting frameworks, and supporting program documentation; 
  • Prepare client reporting packages, executive briefings, presentations, and program status updates; 
  • Monitor program compliance, contractual obligations, milestones, and risk areas to ensure successful execution of client commitments; 
  • Conduct research and analysis related to Canadian industrial capabilities, defence procurement policy, and ITB requirements; 
  • Identify and help develop strategic partnerships, investments, and industrial participation opportunities aligned with client obligations; 
  • Support Value Proposition development and proposal activities for future Canadian defence opportunities; 
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, government stakeholders, industry partners, and relevant ecosystem participants; 
  • Help shape and evolve NyRad’s ITB program delivery capabilities, internal processes, and best practices; 
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as the practice grows; 
  • Support resource planning and coordination across client programs; 
  • Contribute to the continued growth and long-term scalability of NyRad’s ITB and industrial participation practice. 
Qualifications & Experience 
  • 7+ years of experience working in and delivering on ITB obligations within the Canadian defence sector; 
  • Strong understanding of Canada’s Industrial and Technological Benefits (ITB) Policy and ISED processes; 
  • Experience supporting defence, aerospace, naval, or security programs; 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple files and competing priorities simultaneously; 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including strong presentation and client-facing abilities; 
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; 
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal oversight; 
  • Experience coordinating across cross-functional teams and external stakeholders; 
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management capabilities; 
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365, particularly Teams, Word, Excel and PowerPoint; 
  • Eligibility to obtain Canadian Secret security clearance is considered an asset.
